I extend a warm invitation to all of you to attend the International Conference of the Genetic Society of Korea (ICGSK) 2024 in Busan. ICGSK 2024 commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Korean Genetics Society hosting an international academic conference. Its aim is to establish itself as a truly international academic conference where not only members from various fields in Korea but also scholars and students from abroad come together.

ICGSK 2024 is in the process of arranging lectures from leading scholars worldwide, including Nobel laureate Yoshinori Ohsumi from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Professor Dan Kastner from NIH, and Gou Young Koh from KAIST, among others. Additionally, in collaboration with ICGSK 2024, the 1st Asian Genetics Consortium Conference (AGCC) will be jointly held to invite genetic society representatives and speakers from Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, India, and others, aiming to establish ICGSK as the hub of Asian genetic societies and promote scientific exchange and collaboration among them.
